Q. What time do the events start?
A. 10am. This is usually the Highland Dancing and often the Pipe Band competition as well.
Q. Can I bring my dog to the show?
A. You are welcome to bring your dog to the Highland Gathering, but it must be on a lead at all times and you must clear away any 'mess' instantly.
Q. Is it possible to enter the hill race on the day of the event?
A. Yes, you can enter the hill race on the day of the gathering.
Q. Can we camp on the site overnight or in the car parks?
A. Sorry, it is not possible to pitch a tent or live in a caravan or motorhome overnight, either on the showground itself or the car parks.
Q. Can we bring our own food and drink?
A. You may bring your own food and soft drinks. It is against the law to drink alcohol on the showground that is not consumed in the the licensed areas.
Q. Can I leave the showground during the event and return later?
A. Yes, simply obtain a 'pass out' when you leave the ground.
Q. The Members Club sounds good, can anyone use the facilities?
A. Subject to capacity, anyone can join to the Members Club. Full details and the fees are available here
